Yet, we somehow came together for Our Lady’s message. when I first read the Bayside message for the first time, all my questions regarding religion were answered, & I felt God does have a plan. I was blessed w/ many miraculous photos. I saw a great flash of light, & as we were all drenched from hrs of rain, I saw Our Lord, w/ us hanging from the tree, as if on the cross, wet w/ the rain, w/ us.  I have never been the same. Dear Veronica,

     On May 29th I attended the vigil at Bayside.
     A few weeks ago, while praying the rosary I had used that night, I noticed the medal of Our Blessed Lady as well as the chain connecting all the beads and the discs surrounding the Our Father had turned to gold. (The crucifix did not).
     Two New Haven jewelers have confirmed the metal is gold. One gave it the acid test.
     A few nights later I was holding my mother's rosary in my hand. I placed my thumb on the crucifix of her rosary and said, "Mom, my crucifix did not turn." My mother's crucifix turned to gold as she and I watched!

Dear Workers,

    I am writing for information on "How to" put a billboard poster of O. L. of the R. here in Florida.
    My father was critically ill for 6 months.  He was in and out of intensive care at least 6 times.  He has had a history of heart problems since he was 36 or 38 years old.
    Eleven years ago he had a triple by-pass and an aneurism.
    This year he went into congestive heart-failure; at that point he weighed approximately 220 pounds.  His health was critical.  After his quadruple by-pass this year the doctors gave him 6 months--a year to live.  He is 62 years old.  His body began rejecting all medicine.  He lost weight down to 143 1/2 pounds.  He was not able to even hold water on his stomach.  They told us our only hope was a heart transplant.
     I prayed one night over my father and asked Jesus to please give him a miracle and if He couldn't to please help him to carry this heavy cross.
     I wrote a letter to the Vigil of June the 18th 1991.  I found a rose petal and placed it under his pillow.  From that day on my father has held all of his food down and is now 163 pounds.  He is grouchy like he used to be--he even swam 3 laps across the pool 2 weeks ago.  He is going shopping and to the beach.
     I believe my father is a receiver of a miracle.  I talked with a nurse whom followed his case from beginning to end.  She said, "I hope you know your father has received a miracle."
      I am waiting now for the doctors' remarks on this.
      I have promised Jesus and Blessed Mother several things.  One was to do the best I could to spread the news of Her apparitions.  So please send me information on the billboard poster.

      P.S. on December 8, 1980 I had a Rosary that turned to gold;  proved by the jewelers.  I sent in acknowledgement then.  I would also like to add that I am a CNA.  I believe in miracles--I have never seen a person that sick, live.

To whom it may concern,
     It is with deep gratitude that I give this testimony of my conversion at the request of my dear friend, Virginia.
     I am using my business stationery (Henry Wiegand Corporation) to emphasize the fact that I am not given to imagination, having been a chemist. Having been raised in an orthodox Jewish home, I never was interested in Christianity.
     Even though I married a Protestant girl, who later on became a Catholic, and our children were raised Catholic, I never considered changing my religion.
     My wife had been receiving literature from a well meaning friend stating that the Virgin Mary was appearing in Bayside, New York.
     My wife paid little attention to these rather frightening reports of the coming chastisement due to increasing sin in our world. But she became troubled, wondering whether there could be some truth in it after all.
     On October 4, 1974, she prayed in front of the Virgin Mary in our parish church in Charlestown, N.H., asking for an answer in regard to these alleged apparitions.
     After having completed her prayers, she went to the rectory where she spoke to the parish priest, his housekeeper, and another parishioner. They did not speak about church related matters. My wife had an old Rosary with her which she had put on the kitchen table. This Rosary had turned rather black with all the years. All of a sudden this very Rosary turned, within a minute, into the most beautiful gold color. When my wife showed me her Rosary, I did not believe that this was the very same 20-year-old Rosary that I had fixed many times, as the links were coming apart.
     My wife still had the flyers from Bayside, and we decided to go down to the apparition grounds to get more insight. I said, "If God wants me to become a Catholic, something has to happen to me--this is Your sign."
     We drove down to New York on the Feast of the Holy Rosary with Virginia. Many people had given us their Rosaries. Also, I had a Rosary that belonged to our son. He was not that devout any longer, even though he still attended Sunday Mass....
     I had checked every Rosary to assure no false claims could be made. I had put all Rosaries into an open compartment of my car; we were a half-an-hour from home when I noticed something shiny. Among the Rosaries I could see our son's Rosary turning in front of our eyes. The Hail Mary beads turned into a gold color while the Our Father beads turned into a copper color. There was no logical explanation for this. Having studied chemistry, I could not find an argument to disprove what had happened.
     I spend three of the most troubled weeks of my life trying to cope with this unmistakable call of God for my conversion. I could not sleep. I read the Bible, the New Testament especially, and as many books as I could get my hands on in regard to apparitions--like Lourdes, Fatima, La Salette, etc.--also books on stigmatized saints, and the Catholic Faith in general.
     Finally, I realized that I had to follow God's call. At the Easter Sunday Vigil Mass 1975, I was baptized into the Roman Catholic Faith, and I thank God and Our Blessed Mother every day for the great gift of faith. We attend daily Mass, and we are very active in our Church.
     I am presently the president of the parish council and I try to serve God in every capacity.

We are so happy and so thankful, especially to Our Lady of the Roses, and you, Veronica, for your prayers.

To Our Lady of the Roses, 
Two weeks ago my 88 year old cousin suffered a massive stroke. We were given very little hope that she would survive. Each day we watched her sink deep into a coma. On the 5th day a friend came into the room to visit. She gave us a Rose Petal and told us to pray to Our Lady. We placed the Rose Petal on the pillow next to her head. That evening she slowly began to open her eyes. By morning she was fully awake. She started talking and was fully aware of her surroundings. The doctors were amazed. By noon she was moved out of Intensive Care into a regular room and was fed lunch. She is now waiting to go to a Rehab for some paralysis on her left leg and hand. Thanks to Our Lady of the Roses for being there for us. This was truly a miracle.

Thank you very much for the rose petals which I have begun passing over my small child, Cesar, while I pray the Rosary.  (The child has a renal problem and is about 6 yrs old.) 
The day after receiving them my mother called me at 8:30 a.m. to tell me that my father's health was delicate.  We took him to the hospital and were told that he had an emboly, that it might be stabilized or that he could lose the movement of the right side (of his body), which was already notably debilitated.  I took the blessed rose petals and my mother and I started to pray while she passed a petal over him on one side and I on the other.  At 1 p.m. the Internist told us that the neurologists had given a wrong diagnosis, that his brain was intact and that he had only had a transitory vascular cerebral spasm which could be cured with medication and complete rest.  In spite of being told this news, the neurologists were sure they had made a correct diagnosis and could not believe my father's recuperation.  Yesterday we brought him home in fine health and he is resting. 
I wish to send these lines not sure that it is a testimony. 
On August 15th. we will take our son, Cesar, to a doctor in Ciudad Tijuana.  I hope he will give me better alternatives than the doctors in my town.

40 years & 41 years away from the Catholic Church

Dear Veronica and Our Lady's workers,

     I want to tell you of two or more beautiful things that have happened to me: First, my beautiful Rosary has turned gold, and I am so happy about that. Second, my husband returned to communion after being away at least 40 years, I am so thrilled and thank Jesus and Mary for him returning to the sacraments. Third, we were in an auto accident and our car was totaled, but for the grace of Good we were both spared; I had just finished saying my Rosary about 10 minutes before the accident.
     Please put this letter at the next vigil to thank Jesus and Blessed Mother for all she has done for us.

I HAD BEEN AWAY SINCE 1950
March 6, 1991

     Thank you for the scapulars, I really appreciate it.
     I am not sure of the exact date when I received my first paper from the Shrine, or who sent it to me?  But it was 1981-82.  After reading my first paper, I felt I had to return to the Church and sacraments.  I had been away since 1950.  I tried on & off at different churches, but couldn't find no peace or answers.  I'd lost my husband in 1980, to a heart attack, he'd just turned 50.  All we had, were 23 short years together.  I've had a hard life.  Born in 1938, my parents were chronic alcoholics, & divorced when I was in 6th grade.  Being the oldest of three children besides the [word unclear], my mother had me clean, cook, & take care of my younger brother & sisters.  I dropped out of high school in my first year, & went to work.  When I lost my younger sister in '78 to cancer, I though that was pain.  But when I lost my husband, my world ended.  I tried to commit suicide, even though I had two children.  I don't remember anything about it.  It was right after this, I received my first paper from the Shrine.  God bless whoever thought of me then.  My pain now is my two adult children, ages 27 & 32 who have no love for Our Lord & Our Lady.  My deepest wish, is to pray for them, & see them back in church with me.  I pray Sweet Jesus & Our Lady will let me live to suffer all for my sins, & to bring them back to Our Lord.  As of last year, I receive Social Security, thank God.  He heard my prayer.
     A few years ago, I sent Veronica a sterling silver Rosary.  The beads were all roses, & it was a large Rosary.  I thought it'd be nice if Our Lady would accept it, for the Shrine statue.  I never heard whether Our Lady accepted it, although I did get a thank you from one of Our Lady's workers, back then.  As it's been a few years ago I sent it, I wish now I had kept it.
     Would you do me two favors?  Would you thank Veronica for me, & ask her to pray for me & my family.  A blessing from Our Lord& Lady would be asking too much.  And would you please send me the old Shrine's papers, I would deeply appreciate it.
     I've been back to church ever since, receive the sacraments, & say a Rosary as often as I can.

I am now over 60, unbaptized, and have never been a member of any church. I was at one time an atheist. Practiced occultism to a certain degree. Finally became interested in the Bible 25 to 30 years ago. I became convinced of its authenticity and the truths of prophecies. I listened to many conservative fundamentalist protestant preachers on radio and T.V. and believed in their teachings of saving through grace and that every word in the Bible, including miracles, is the Divine Revelation of God.   
     At this time, I married a Catholic widow, who has been devout her entire life. She was very distressed with my lack of desire to become baptized. I didn`t believe I was worthy of Heaven, with or without baptism. Until recently I was completely disillusioned with the Catholic religion, with the early Popes, who were kings, the inquisition and the biblical prophecies of the Antichrist. I didn`t believe in sacramentals, Rosaries and the Sacraments. I did believe in prayer however. In spite of this I agreed to take a course on becoming a Catholic. At the conclusion I was further away from believing in the Church than before. The watering down of the Bible with each person allowed to judge for himself whether to accept or reject the Miracles [mentioned in the Bible], didn`t coincide with my beliefs. The poor dress codes of the Catholic Church-goers as opposed to many protestant church-goers was another stumblingblock. At this time I was ready to join a fundamentalist church to be baptized.   
     In the meantime we happened to hear the messages from Bayside with Veronica Lueken on radio. We agreed to get messages and read it with the same spirit in which I originally read the Bible, prove me herewith. If anything were to contradict the Bible, we would stop getting them. We ordered Roses book II, after starting to read that, couldn`t wait to order the rest of the books and tapes, crucifixes and medals. The messages contained everything that I thought is wrong with the world with the music, movies, morals, T.V., radio, newspapers, E.R.A., gay rights, etc. The messages spared no one in their criticism of the modern trends in the Church and in society in general. With the messages of reverence, prayer, penance, Bible reading and remaining in the Church as an example, I thought it covered just about everything one needs to know to trust their eternity upon.   
     I have been blessed with a wonderful wife who has been ever an inspiration to me. Now the only goals in life are taking care of her, getting baptized as soon as possible and living as near as possible to the directions in the Bible and in the messages from Bayside.   
     I just found out that I will be baptized in October.   
     I believe that my wife’s prayers led me to the one source that could convert me to Catholicism.   
     I attribute my conversion to the messages from Jesus and Mary at Bayside through Veronica Lueken.

To Our Lady of the Roses:

     I was formerly a member of the Episcopal Church, a Protestant. Then I heard of Our Lady of the Roses, through a message given to my niece, which I believed in right away because I was always interested in prophecy. I saw that Our Lady’s words--Her messages--were true, because it kind of tied in with everything I’ve always read in the Bible and other prophecies, and I believed it right away.
     And then, I started coming here. Not long after, I read another message, in which Our Lady told a former Protestant that if he wanted his prayers answered, he should become a Catholic. I took that as sign for me, that I, too, should become a Catholic. I started taking instructions--myself and my daughter--and we both were baptized about a half a year later.
     I had been living away from any practice of religion. I didn’t go to church on Sunday--I just read the papers and took it easy. Since then, my life has changed completely. I now go to church everyday. I receive the sacrament of Holy Communion everyday. I go to Confession as often as I can. I say the Rosary as many times as I can each day--both me and my daughter. We try to be as good Catholics as possible, and that is not the only graces that we received. We also were fortunate to have other members of our families converted to Catholicism. I have two nieces and their families--and also my mother--converted to Catholicism. She just passed away in the grace of God, and that is a great consolation to me.
     I am very grateful to Our Holy Mother and to Our Lord for all the graces that they’ve given to me. I thank Veronica, also, for taking on a great task of saving souls in this day and age, when everything is so bad in the world. And thank God the Father, of course for everything.

I too was cured and converted when I found my first Rose Petal in March, 1994 on Market St. in San Francisco, CA. I was cured of a major affliction, hard-drug use and abuse.  I believe Our Lady gave me the strength and grace to stop completely from this suffering.  I was away from the Roman Catholic Church for 26 years when I was converted back because of Our Lady of the Roses, Mary Help of Mothers.  I also completely stopped my homosexual lifestyle and behavior, and followed the counsel and directions of Our Lady's Shrine.  I was brought back to family too.
     I am living the best of my life now.  My faith in the Church and Jesus and Mary through the Shrine.

in the occult

February 1, 1992

     I, Eileen B. give this testimony before God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, in honor of Our Lady of the Roses and before all the Angels and the Saints in Heaven that I saw the golden rays.
     There were many people at the Vigil that night, including Veronica, the Seer. While praying the Rosary, there about twenty feet above Our Lady's statue, coming from a point down and outward were streams of bright and light gold.
     In my heart, I knew it came from Jesus' Heart. It reminded me of the picture of Jesus with the rays, bright gold for His Blood, and light gold for the water. The fountain of mercy.
     As I gazed at the beautiful golden rays, which stayed about a half an hour, I told Jesus and Our Lady that I loved them and that I was sorry for all my sins. I thanked Jesus and Our Lady for everything and for the special grace of believing in Our Lady of the Roses.
     It was the mercy and love of Jesus and Our Lady that I am here at the Holy Grounds because I was once in the occult. The 70s were hard years for me and with many things going wrong.
     One day my cousin and I went to a fortune teller who turned out to be a warlock, which was the beginning of many wrongs. It is strange how one can make many excuses for one's actions. About four years in the occult, I will never forget the last day. It was the warlock that mentioned what was going on in New York and how he was going there to try to take over. Then he mentioned their queen and I said that there was only one Queen, the Mother of God. He became very angry and for the first time I realized how wrong everything was. In my mind I told Our Blessed Mother that I was sorry and asked Her to help me. The warlock was furious, he said that there was something around me, like a wall. I knew it was Our Lady and I said, please take me out and I will never come back. It was shortly after that I met Carol, it was in 1979 that I went for the first time.
     I was very grateful just to be on the Holy Ground. For many years I was afraid, every time a worker would take a picture of the crowd my heart was afraid. I asked Jesus, please let me stay. After about seven years of going to the vigils, I saw the golden rays.
    I want to thank Jesus and Our Lady of the Roses for all the graces and their great mercy.
     It was Our Lady who took me out of the occult and Jesus who showed me His great mercy, the golden rays.
     This is my testimony.

35 years away from the Catholic Church

Dear Veronica,
     I should have sent this letter years ago. I just want to tell Our Lady of the Roses followers that there is no one beyond forgiveness.
    Before I went to Bayside, I was away from church and Our Holy Lady for 35 years. I never went to church or received the sacraments, used the Lord's name in vain, read trashy books, and committed countless sins.
     I was hopelessly addicted to diet pills for 35 years, and I am 60 years old. I did anything to get the pills; and were my life. I lied for them, went to all different doctors to get them, groveled for them, lied and cheated for them.
     After I went to Bayside my life changed since 1985. I gave the pills up, go to Church as often as I can, receive the sacraments as often as I can, kneel for communion, and never wear slacks.
     I know Our Lady of the Roses led me back to her Son who loved me and waited for me all those years.
     I love our Holy Lady and Her Son more than I ever dreamed I could.

SISTER DIED WITH SACRAMENTS

My sister had been away from the sacraments and Church for 35 years. When she was diagnosed with lung cancer, she went to confession, received the sacraments and prepared well for her death. She died wearing the scapular, crucifix and medals. She also received the Last Sacrament.

To Our Lady of the Roses:

    I wanted to report a most beautiful phenomenon I experienced on the Vigil of the Queenship of Mary, May 14, 1977, toward the end of the Vigil. I was kneeling in the front on the right side slightly under the tree. I smelled the most beautiful aroma of incense all around. It was like Benediction. But the aroma was even more pure and beautiful than what we have in Church. My mind was drawn to God the Father and the Blessed Trinity. (The Trinity is my favorite mystery. I long to go to Heaven and learn of and be with the Trinity.)
     What beautiful feelings of peace and love enveloped my heart! The aroma lingered awhile and then faded. Well, I enjoyed what happened and thought about it for awhile.
     What a surprise when several weeks later, I was reading the May 14th message, and at the end, there was St. Michael incensing the area, and while he was doing that I had smelled it! What a beautiful blessing. I shall never forget it. I for certain would have to testify to the truth of the apparitions of Bayside.
